Describe This Coin...

The Copeland Copper/Silver features "IllusionEdge," a Jeff Copeland original solution. It is the purest, cleanest edge to a copper silver ever manufactured.
Unlike inferior gimmicks, that seem to hover on the hand or float on the table with a telltale bicolor line around the edge, the Copeland Copper/Silver coins are not just split and stuck together 50/50. With an expert refined cut, the silver coin actually rests inside of the copper coin, due to a 45 degree angle miter cut into the sides of the coins. This produces something close to a 98/2 split edge (more than 98% copper and less than 2% silver showing).
When you display the copper side up on your hand, the originally minted reeded edges are seen all the way down and around the side of the coin for the appearance of a solid copper coin.
When you display the silver side, the silver rim extends to the absolute edge of the coin for a ridiculously fooling illusion: The audience sees a solid silver coin with tarnished edges.
Simply stated: Whichever color side you show, that is all the audience will see. Period.

Each Copeland Copper/Silver Coin is made from a TigerTan Coin and a real United States Government Coin as allowed by US law. The reeded edges on each coin will always be copper for the best illusion.

* Each Copeland Copper/Silver Coin will be heads/heads or tails/tails. The copper side orientation will match to the silver side orientation. It makes sense that if a copper and silver coin change places that their faces would change to the same orientation and makes things easier to remember. (Note: Occasionally, we make a silver heads /copper tails coin when the two colored sides fit perfectly and make the best match. This happens less than 0.5% of the time. For all other coins, they will match heads/heads or tails/tails.)

IF you need to match the patina or color with your silver coins, put a note in the order notes and send us a picture of your coins with the order number in the subject line!!

We do not match dates. We have a random sampling of years in different styles cannot carry all dates in inventory. If dates are important then consider ordering a tails side gimmick.

Quarter Dollar size are now a final run item. We will NEVER run quarter dollar size again and less than 50 remain in stock.

A Next-Level C/S!

"I’ve been doing magic for over 50 years (yikes!) and though I’ve dabbled in coins here and there over the years, it’s taken until now for me to get really excited about practicing and performing with them. A good C/S coin is a very useful tool and my recently purchased Walking Liberty/English penny C/S from another manufacturer is great, but my new Copeland C/S absolutely blows it away - it’s truly “next level.” Initially I was a bit concerned the copper coin is not a real world coin, but now that I think about it, English pennies aren’t real world in the US either!
